Other Conversion Settings
The HEIC to JPG Converter app includes two additional settings to help manage your conversion workflow:
Copy Metadata
When enabled, this option attempts to preserve the original image metadata (such as date taken, camera model, and exposure settings) during conversion.
Viable Formats: Metadata is preserved when converting to JPG, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF because these formats support common EXIF and metadata fields.
Non-Viable Formats: Formats such as GIF, PDF, PSD, HDR, and WEBP may not fully retain HEIC metadata due to format limitations or the way these formats handle image layers and compression.
Open Folder After Conversion
Automatically opens the destination folder after all files are converted, so you can quickly access and verify the output files.
